As I was saying...
The old office layout is history. About the only pieces of original furniture are two bookshelves and one filing cabinet (and that, only until suitable storage can be found to replace it). I have also not found a place for the Epson color printer that I use only occasionally (mostly for printing out revised documents). The place still looks like a tornado went through it, but I've cleared away a work space (which is good, as a 10K-word job came in around lunch time, with a due date of next Monday).
My trip into town on Friday with Natalie involved coming along for the ride while she interviewed for a tech support position, as her current employerhas its head up continues to self-destruct and, as it turned out, actually let Natalie go Friday. The good news is that, according to the grapevine, her interview with the prospective employer went very well, and that she is among the top candidates for what I understand are several positions. Go, Natalie! (And come to think of it, "coming along for the ride" isn't quite the proper description, as my actual function was to drop Natalie off at the McDavid car dealership so she could pick up her new Honda Civic.) But I repeat myself.
Back to the clean-up!
Cheers...
