Strange day...
Two offers of work from new clients, neither of which panned out.
One, however, did turn into a proofreading job (not an editing job), so it's not as if the effort was a complete loss.
Continuing with the good news, the last $40 invoice for the French client appears to have been paid after I (re)sent the invoice. (Now, if only I could say the same for the Manhattan agency that owed me about $1700!)
I need to light a fire under my butt. Daylight's doing its thing!
