It's a happening!
Going nuts, and I may stay there.
There was no leisurely time spent this morning wrapped around a cup or two of coffee. Instead, it was a trip directly to the face of the salt mine, to translate three additional pages.
The good news so far is that I've only 8,000 words or so left to edit and send. The bad news is that there are about 6 pages that really haven't been translated at all, because the OCR engine didn't want to deal with them (which just shows that some software is intelligent).
In between, I've dealt with a returned check (the client offered to pay via Paypal), accepted a job due next Monday (which better get done quicker than that), and was offered a two-week interpretation assignment in Houston (details of which are to be worked out).
Break's over. Back to the face!
Cheers...
