On station...

Everything went remarkable smoothly once I hit the road, except that I got the fidgets during the flight (which is unusual for me). Still, I even managed to stop by our rental house before proceeding to the hotel to see whether there was really $100 of cleaning to do, as our real estate agent claims.

Lee and Robert met me while I was checking in and helped me "move in," with a container of kombucha (sold by the Russian store as грибной чай, or "mushroom tea") and some other goodies, after which we hit the Outback steakhouse for dinner.

The kids wanted to go see Iron Man and I would have gone except that in all the hurly-burly, I had neglected to review about 6 documents that had been sent to me as background information for the meeting that I'm interpreting for. This kind of support is so rare, generally speaking, that not to look at them would be to mock at karma.

Too, it's been a long day, and I'm feeling pretty tired as it is, and have to be out on the street at 6 am.

I'm about 1/3 of the way through the documents (two of which, I am happy to say, were translated by me, so the familiarization process is not a arduous). I should get back to them and then hit the sack.

Cheers...
