Doin' 80 on I-80, and other miscellany...

We covered 1200 miles yesterday, from Indiana to somewhere south of Buena Vista, where - exhausted - we coasted into the parking lot of a darkened roadside diner, shut down the car, and blended in with two or three other parked cars. Galina had the foresight to take a blanket on the road with us, so it took nearly three hours for the cold to penetrate.

Our stopping point turned out to be 2.5 hours from home.
