If you could can it...
Just saw Men of Honor, with Robert DeNiro and Cuba Gooding, Jr.
Okay, so this is another "based on a real story" movie that very likely bears little resemblance to the real tale. Nonetheless, I found it uplifting. (So, it would appear you don't mind being manipulated if it inspires and uplifts you, eh? Interesting point.)
On a more mundane note, the day passed quickly. I spent way too long trying to get into the translation (finding dictionaries, electronic glossaries, etc.), and then got side-tracked with invitations to go for a walk (yes, yes!), and then, later, to watch the movie.
In the end, I got between a quarter and a third of the translation done and did get some PHP work done, too.
The festivities at the neighbor's house are tomorrow, I am told. (Either that, or we missed them today.) Gotta get the translation done for Tuesday morning, when it all starts again.
Cheers...

All of fiction is, after all, manipulation, as is all of art.

Two for two on the evening. (Sigh.)
Sorry if I sounded snappish.
Cheers...
