I was the morning duty interpreter today, so it fell to me to interpret the status meeting and part of the meeting that took place immediately afterward to discuss joint operations. Upon my return from the полтинник, I sort of crashed and slept all afternoon.

It's a good thing I'm the on-call interpreter tomorrow. I plan to catch up on some exercise (I just walked for 40 minutes, and have a "stitch" in my abdomen) and probably do some more laundry, as the green rucksack I left here at the end of the Arabsat campaign had nowhere near the amount of clothing I thought I had cached.

I had a list of what was in the bag, and between moving around from Texas to New York to Colorado, lost track of the blamed thing, mostly because up until earlier this year, I didn't realistically think I was ever going to come back (which explains why some of the stuff in the bag was of sub-thrift-shop quality, too).

Here's hoping things aren't too smoky or hot in your neck of the woods.
