We're back up!

In more ways than one.

We suffered an Internet outage here shortly after the start of the work day, and I got the word a few minutes ago to convey the news that service had been restored. One of the first things that I did was try my work domain, and apparently, the propagation of the change is complete, as the proper data is rendered in my browser.

Next, I need to check to see that the modifications made to my domain's MX records work, but that will probably wait until later today. I'm just not in a mood to check email right now.

As the "morning duty" interpreter, it fell to me to interpret the daily coordination meeting. All is going well, and we are on the eve of commencing joint operations. Tomorrow's schedule is very ambitious, calling for transfer of the spacecraft from the fueling hall and its integration with other key components. Things are going to move pretty quickly starting tomorrow.

Meanwhile, there's a barbecue scheduled for 6 pm tonight, combining the functions of a farewell to people leaving on tomorrow's charter flight, a welcome to those who arrived yesterday, a celebration of the successful completion of propellant loading, and the imminent commencement of joint operations.

Cheers...
