Flickr tips and tricks, sort of...
In other news, the Flickr Uploader apparently has a built-in timer on uploads that assumes something is wrong if an upload takes too long. Of course, what's "wrong" here is that I'm on the end of a dial-up connection, but this same dial-up connection successfully downloaded an 80-MB audiobook overnight, so I'm not feeling all warm and fuzzy toward this application right now, especially as there does not seem to be a way to adjust the timeout value.
After having tried to use the program to upload a few photos, I gave up. However, upon calling up "my" page at Flickr, it would appear that I successfully uploaded the first of three shots... four times!
There would seem to be a learning curve, here.
