5000!
I happened to be looking at my profile the other day, and noticed that the post counter was a few short of 5000, and while posting a 5000th message really doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, I cannot help but note the fact.
The flight to Dulles got in about 30 minutes early, and once I got my bag I skipped getting a rental car and took a cab to the hotel, because the client was waiting for me to arrive and start work on reviewing presentations that will be given tomorrow, and for some reason, I assumed the meeting would be held at the hotel (it isn't).
In any event, the night-before review exercise just broke up a few minutes ago. Now I need to get some sleep, because the meeting starts at 8 am tomorrow, with everyone showing up at 7:15 or so to chow down on breakfast at the meeting site. I personally hope to avoid being bleary-eyed while interpreting tomorrow.
I also hope that this work-in-the-evenings-until-nearly-midnight cycle of PowerPoint file reviews doesn't continue, but I'm not going to hold my breath. It seems to be par for the course (based on previous experience).
