On the way to work today (that's twice in a row on foot), I happened to find myself in a peculiar geometry with some trees and a local ballooning enthusiast. I've never been in a hot-air balloon, though I have flown around them in small, single-engine fixed-wing aircraft. It must be nice to float without having to wear earphone/earmuffs to keep from losing one's hearing.
I went to the store after finishing
all the items on my (not very ambitious, yet meaty) to-do list. Coming home, Galina and I spied some lovely clouds in the sky. Sure enough, by the time we got home, the spectacle had largely dissipated. What was left was captured in the next photo...
There sure was a mess of weather on the other side of those mountains.
