Very nice story, I bet never in your life you would have guessed you would turn down an opportunity at Microsoft! One thing I am wondering is how your kids handled the move.
One thing that I really admire about you is that you are not afraid to express your feelings. It is a quality that I always look for when reading other peoples work. I also love the sky reference at the end, which would be my favorite thing if I lived there.
