Long day...
It's been a pretty long day. Galina and I staged a bunch of stuff in preparation for loading a truck tomorrow, where the overall plan is to have two hired hands load the truck during the day (there's only so much you can stuff in a 16-foot truck), after which I will return the rent-a-car to the airport (don't much feel like paying a $75 drop-off fee) and then "commute" back to Locust Valley via AirTrain and the LIRR.
Curiously enough, every one of the things I've been looking for in Pagosa showed up in New York yesterday and today. Go figure.
One of my clients sent a short item today that should not have taken very long at all, but I did not factor in the enormously annoying behavior exhibited by Firefox, where it takes forever to download a new version and then check to make sure one's plugins still work, and so on, so that you first see the browser's screen several minutes after firing up the program. It feels like forever when you're trying to move forward like that, though.
Cheers...
