Still hanging around these parts...

I'm back in the Delta SkyMiles lounge (courtesy of my ticket and my Amex card), scheduled to go out on an Air France flight at 6:15 pm. I will arrive a day late for my assignment, which is pretty bad, considering it's only a week-long assignment.
I wouldn't have even stopped by the SkyMiles lounge at all, except that wireless is no longer free at the Atlanta airport, at least not where it used to be (in Consourse E, in the food court area), so I stopped by the lounge, where access is free for SkyMiles members.
It occurs to me that one of the best ways of getting over the 24-hour pity storm I've been riding out is to just get over it, already, so I am deliberately not going to recount the events of yesterday. I've learned some lessons, and that's that. The rest I put behind me, as they're neither helpful, cathartic, funny, interesting, or instructive.
The return I've got booked takes me through Paris (ah, Pa-ree!), but the kicker is that I arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport at very nearly 11 pm, with a departure twelve hours later, the next morning at very nearly 11 am next Saturday night. (Then again, I get to spend most of an "extra" day in Moscow... w00t1)
Apropos of CDG: any readers have any good suggestions about a place to crash nearby? (I seem to recall there being a hotel inside... was it Orly? de Gaulle? But that was three decades ago, and it's likely the idea didn't pan out...) At the very least, I surely would like to avoid the situation I ran into here in Atlanta, where the taxi to and from the hotel I booked via Priceline (probably an error) cost more than the hotel room.
Then again, I may just try to find a nice corner and zonk out sitting up.
La vita รจ bella!
Cheers...
