I just discovered that FineReader will take advantage of the Lexmark's automatic document feeder, which is pretty good, because I've not been able to duplicate my initial success scanning a multi-page document, and have had neither the need to do so nor the time to find out why it hasn't worked. (I just happened to see a check-box for the feeder in the FineReader interface, and checked it!)
I've been translating for the past hour and change, trying to catch up as best I can to make up for having had my projected interpretation hours fall 30% short this week (and that's a lot of catch-up in terms of translation, let me tell you). I've got another 20 minutes or so before having to turn to and get ready for today's gigs in Buildings 1 and 4.
This weekend's dance card is full, though.
