A new slate...
It's nice having New Year's Day fall on a Saturday.
We marked the day by making our first dish with Madras curry, the ingredients of which included coconut milk and dried cranberries, and it turned out well. Then we made a simple pot of basic black-eyed peas for dinner.
In between, I've been cleaning up around the office, learning about Evernote security, and doing general computer maintenance.
And reading my mother's diary entry for January 1, 1936, three quarters of a century ago.
