Mobilization drill...

Galina and I went through the preliminaries of going to Denver for her to catch an ultra-short-notice flight to New York, but in the end, after a number of phone calls involving real estate agents and our tenant, we managed to cancel the tickets with no penalty, so our entire mobilization operation—I mean, I had even packed food for Shiloh, too, for the trip to ferry Galina to Denver and then come back—was called off with perhaps a quarter hour to spare before we were to set out on the road.

Fortunately, there was no work to reschedule or reject, either, so aside from disrupted plans, there do not appear to be any other aftereffects.

As far as work was concerned, I did complete what is due for tomorrow, and I've sent it off, so there are no worries from that direction (except the general gripe of there not being enough work). I will give my blood pressure every opportunity to get back down to normal, before resuming the home stretch of the Feht job tomorrow, if it comes to it.
