All that work... for nothing!

I felt far from chipper this morning, but after a couple of cups of coffee, I set about the task of checking the third item due this morning and translating two short items that showed up in my inbox at some ungodly (for me) hour.

Then I turned to the task of cleaning up this place, made easier by my (heroic) efforts yesterday in the kitchen.

I do not know why—actually, that's not true: the place was in need of a good cleaning—but the effort pretty much exhausted me by noon. Whereupon, the real estate people called to say our potential renters had canceled the visit and would not be resceduling.

I've been trying to recover ever since.

Well, I will admit that the steam pretty much ran out once the call came in, so my office is still a mess (but that's okay, since it's been more than 24 hours now, and it would've looked the way it does now anyway). As for your to-do list:

• swear a bunch DONE!
• have good meals DONE!
• send out vibes (IN WORK)
