Why didn't I think of that?
One of the little twists of LJ Idol that cropped up this week is the "intersection," which involves coordination between two participants. What said coordination might be is, in my experience, assessed about as loosely as how well one's entry addresses an Idol prompt.
Apropos of which there are two prompts in an intersection week, one for each half of an intersecting team.
Contestants seem to pair up fairly quickly, and I didn't think to send out multiple inquiries to potential partners, choosing instead to send inquiries out one at a time. My approach was not tremendously successful—I am sure a couple of LJ outages didn't help the cause—but I managed to find a partner nonetheless. What ends up getting written on my end is going to have to be pretty extemporaneous, as the deadline for this week's round is tomorrow night.
Speaking of deadlines, I managed a full day's work at the computer, and there's stuff left to be done tomorrow as well (as well as the long-delivery job, which is starting to turn ever-more-alarming colors in the work queue).
For now, I need to turn of my machine and get some eye rest. Some sleep later on would not hurt, either.
Cheers...
