...but it's a good kind of "feeling poleaxed"
So there we were, walking around inside of Fry's, when Kyle broaches the subject of him and Natalie getting married. I can tell you exactly where I was standing inside the store—I wonder if they'll let me spray-paint a small X on the floor—but I cannot tell you what was said, other than my "Welcome to the family!"
All very traditional, but I encouraged the young man to pretty much repeat all of what he said when we all got back to the house, for Galina's benefit. Then Natalie showed us the ring Kyle gave her, so I guess they're not kidding around. :^)
No date has been set for the nuptuals.
They've taken off for a couple of hours to go visit the folks living in Natalie's house, with most of that time devoted to getting there and back. Tomorrow morning, they head off to Pagosa to visit Drew and his family.
Me, I feeling a little... stunned. I'm just trying to absorb it all.
