* * *It's almost 8 pm and I'm the "on call" interpreter. So far today, I've been called to go in to the office for what turned out to be no work at all, and I just got a radio call in my room to come pick up something in the downstairs ILS office that must be translated into Russian tonight and faxed.

I better get cracking, as my speed translating into Russian is abysmally slow.
