Very strange...
If yesterday evening's post looks funny, it's because my desktop suddenly stopped recognizing keystrokes (although the mouse worked without a problem), and I didn't have the time or inclination to figure out why.
Earlier - the day before yesterday, if memory serves - in the middle of the workday, whenever I'd call up the symbol dialog in Word, the program would not recognize the use of left- or right-arrow, although that cured itself yesterday, most likely because the machine had been turned off for the night and had restarted "clean."
Biking to the store was pretty easy today, although I have to admit, I don't like gratuitously placing my life in the hands of strangers. Auto vs. auto is one thing; auto vs. bike is another.
It's almost time to open the doors.
