Kazakhstan...

I'm in Lufkin, Texas right now, working my interpretation assignment.

My cell phone rang shortly before lunch, asking if I was up for another Kazakhstan gig.

For a variety of reasons, I said no.

In other news, I spent two hours this morning interpreting for one of the folks represented as an interpreter for this gig. I think I've been had.

For now, however, it's back to work.
