I ducked out of my office, through the laundry room, and into the garage to put something away. On my way back in, I surprised Mickey by opening the door.
Mickey retreated a few steps, moving backward.
He stopped and, as I continued to advance, did a little forward-backward dance, as if weighing the pros and cons of trying to sneak by me.
He decided against it.
