Short-term habit formation...

Shiloh didn't wake me up at 5:30 am this morning, but after three days, I woke up on my own at that time. Instead of drifting back off to sleep, I figured I ought to take advantage of the limited time my connectivity will be available this morning, before I am compelled to connect to the Internet using my iPhone's "Personal Hotspot" until tomorrow afternoon.

I had scheduled the cable TV and the Internet to be switched off at the condo this morning because we were supposed to be moving back into the house today, but that "ain't gonna happen" because the tenant won't be out until late afternoon tomorrow, and although I did take the trouble to move the connection appointment to Wednesday afternoon, I just didn't feel motivated enough to chase down the folks who are providing service here at the condo and have them extend service.

The bad news on the invoicing front is that formal April billings are pretty poor. The good news on the invoicing front is that I'm sitting on about a month's worth of invoices that I can't send until I actually finish the associated work and send the finished jobs to my clients, which ought to occur over the next few days.

The plan for the day is to despeckle what I'm calling the Dwelling Job™, complete a first draft of a transcript translation, and then to divide my time between packing and "turning base" on the Psychology Job™. (On a related note, I have no idea when I'll be able to "attend" either of the udacity.com courses I'm enrolled in. I may have to "drop" one of them.)

Cheers...

Coming out of a berserker translation fog!

The despeckle of the Housing Job™ is done. The file has been sent and the job has been invoiced.

The first draft of the transcript translation is done.

About 15% of our junk has been taken out to the car.

I'm feeling positively accomplished!
