Mostly computer-free...

When my work machine went into "can't-use-GUI-to-launch-apps" mode this morning shortly after finishing the bootup process, I took it as a hint and shut everything down for the day (mostly, as this post suggests).

I spent a bunch of time clearing away clutter, and then Galina and I went out for our usual tour of the local neighborhoods. We got home in time for a late lunch, after which I did some reading and then napped.

It's been that kind of day...
