Taking it easy, sort of...
...or at least I thought so until the online posting interface decided to send me... never mind. Anyway, as I was saying...
I had lately tried to keep my Fridays as light as possible, for no other reason than I could, but today I had to finish what turned out to be a 9,000-word monster, mostly so I could face the weekend with that many fewer words on The Plate™, which remains heaped high.
So the good news is that I'm 9,000 words "lighter," and somewhere, there's an invoice gestating that's 9,000 words "heavier." And that's a Good Thing™.
