Chemo day.

Folks at MD Anderson say they approached the door to the examination room with trepidation, because I looked pretty good on paper (based on the results from Wednesday's blood draw), and they didn't want to be disillusioned by a physical specimen that didn't quite live up to the numbers. They weren't.

The chemo went well (I only napped, and was bored silly the rest of the time, despite all the stuff on my Kindle Paperwhite—ranging from Ellery Queen mysteries to philosophical works by Lucius Annaeus Seneca). Compared with the chemo three weeks ago, I'm doing well right now.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to install an application called Stamp Manager. The 2017 upgrade tells me I need to have previous version(s) installed first.

Double yech. It is taking forever to install. Meanwhile, I turned to a box that's sitting next to my desk and found a bunch of handwritten journal entries from 1989! This led me to wonder—will DW (and LJ, for that matter) allow posts that predate the existence of said services?

Check it out!
