Another high-speed day...
I got up late (6:45 am), and went to open the store. Galina went to her yoga class. Drew showed up around 8:30 am, despite working long hours yesterday and partying with Brady last night (Brady hit the quarter-century mark yesterday, dontcha know...).
So everything got done, eventually, and I left for home around 11:30. There was a message from client M, from nearly 9 am. An "emergency" said my contact. I called back, but by this time, the emergency (a rush-rush translation) had been assigned to someone else.
I'm not complaining.
Anyway, I tried to take a nap, but couldn't fall asleep. Then I went back to the store to send an urgent UPS letter via their second-day service. That visit stretched until just after 5 pm, and I really didn't get a good start on the day until after 6 pm.
Yech.
It was, however, a good day for client payments. Two more came in, which made me a very happy camper at the cashier's window today.
Up until a few minutes ago, there was a pretty... demonstrative thunderstorm wandering around outside my window. Fortunately, the power was not disrupted in the course of the display (which doesn't mean it won't be... I should save my work... [pause]... done!)
I think I am going to finish the page I am on and then go upstairs and hang out with Galina. Maybe give her a foot rub.
Cheers...
