Back at the store...
It was a relatively sedate day at the store, capped off by a loss of power in this part of Pagosa around 1:40 pm, lasting past closing time. I went home and took a 3-hour nap after eating a late lunch, so maybe it wasn't so sedate, after all.
Upon rising, I put the makings of a solyanka on to cook, under what appeared to be the doubtful eye of Galina. The recipe is a little light in the pickle department, but ought to come out reasonably well. Then I went back to the store, to close out the register and do the daily report using a new spreadsheet (my attempts to modify the spreadsheet had been interrupted earlier in the day).
I am determined to get the paper chase well and done with tomorrow and Monday.
