Final night...
This assignment will be over in about 3-1/2 hours, and then it'll be addio, Houston! (until next time). Of course, I still need to do a final pack of my stuff and I plan to eat lunch with Natalie, but you get the general idea. By this time tomorrow, I should be sound asleep in my own bed in Colorado.
* * * There's an interesting item on digg.com that points at a page of photos on Flickr, put there by a fellow who found a digital camera and - in an attempt to find the owner and return the camera - posted the photos stored in the device for all to see.
On the one hand, it's a nice gesture and I have every hope that it achieves its stated goal, but there's that little voice in the back of my mind that wonders how something like this might fit as a plot point in a fiction story. (Plausible deniability, anyone?)
In any event, I thought I'd spread the word about the Flickr page. Check it out.
Cheers...

That's very interesting...
Oh, yeah, I could see that.
Obvious one: http://flickr.com/photos/jlt/73950621/in/set-1587892/
Plot point: "They're married, but not to each other. Her husband spots the picture on the web, prints the picture and mails it to the guy's wife."
More intricate: http://flickr.com/photos/jlt/73950597/in/set-1587892/
Plot point: Woman on cell phone is head of a terrorist cell, code name Viper, FBI is unsure of Viper's true identity and actually has another person as a prime suspect. FBI knew that Viper made a cell phone call from about that location at lunchtime on 7/22. FBI agent spots the photo, and realizes that that the innocuous woman frequently seen off to one side during photo surveillance actually is the true Viper. Huge terrorist attack thus thwarted at last minute.
