One of those good news—bad news kind of days...

The good news is that the flood of work that threatened to overwhelm my weekend is about 2/3 done. I might have enough time to have the kids over for dinner tomorrow and to clean the place up enough for prospective renters to look at it on Monday.

The bad news is that the flood of work that threatened to overwhelm my weekend is about 2/3 done. I may even have more than enough time for all the non-work things things that need to get done.

Then again, if I take a look at the entire scope of things that need doing—a sample translation, invoices, and another chunk of the 15,000-word book I'm translating on arr—,maybe it's not all that bad a thing to have a little buffer.

And as it turns out, there's nothing I really need in Durango.

Cheers...

Are you off somewhere?

We've got both this place and the place in New York up for rent, but offers have not been very numerous. In the unlikely event that both places do get snapped up, I suppose we'd have to improvise, but it's not as if we're strangers to that process.

There is still a vast amount of real estate I haven't seen, out there.

Cheers...

P.S. Want to rent a nice place, out in the country, with a marvelous view of the Colorado Rockies? :^)

But if I rented your house, it'd mean that you'd have to move to NYC, and I couldn't do that to you!

Just out of curiosity, what are the rents like where you are?
