I picked up a copy of Mr. Majestyk, and it is uncanny how the man implements his rules. I'm sitting there going, "Wow, look at that!"

Over and over again, you dig?

(It is also interesting to note how some other writers can break the rules, and to muse on how they are able to do so.)

Instant craziness...

Galina left for Houston around 8 am this morning, and I've been bouncing off walls since.

I got a lot done in terms of throwing crap out of my office, but also a lot of just walking around, marching up and down stairs, trying to watch TV, and snacking entirely excessively.

I need to snap out of it, generally speaking, although the Zen-like state I was in earlier came in very handy for consigning items no longer needed to the trash.

In the end, however, what really surprises me is the quantity of blank CDs and DVDs I've accumulated here and there.
