A good day, during which I manage errands...

I made my translation "nut" today, despite taking three hours in the middle of the work day to run a series of errands that included getting the oil changed in the Toyota. Tai chi went particularly well, with sifu continuing a discussion on the finer points of the short form, including comments on variations at various points of the form attributable to family or personal style.

There is still work on the plate—enough for another "nut" tomorrow and very likely even over one weekend day (the latter consisting of Slow Work™, part of which has been OCRed and part of which hasn't).

I keep meaning to try Tai chi. I found a class nearby a couple of months ago but as I and another a couple of ladies turned up, the instructor didn't. Over the weeks I've kept ringing the place where the classes are held and he hasn't turned up since I went....but he is still paying for the room every week!
