More energy...

I got up at the usual time, but decided to skip exercise, not because of laziness, but something else—I don't know what. The fact that it wasn't just me being lazy was enough of a justification for me (and believe me, I know what laziness feels like when it comes to avoiding things).

By mid-afternoon, however, I felt pretty much like myself. I made some good progress with translations, and Galina and I researched Goa as a travel destination, having had our attention directed there by Galina's niece Olga, who spent most of the last six months there.

I, for one, am not convinced that Goa is much of a desirable vacation destination, but maybe that's just me. Perhaps tomorrow, I'll have a different opinion.

Speaking of tomorrow, it's time I hit the sack. Taiji provided quite a workout this evening, and I'll need my beauty rest for the morning.

Cheers...

I hadn't thought to ask before, but do you take regular days off from exercise? As in, one to two days a week where you do nothing but regular around-the-house/errands stuff?

I exercise a lot (weight-control issues), but I have one day off a week. I definitely need it, even though I'm often restless on that particular day.

Do you not count taiji as exercise? It looks as if you wound up doing that later in the day.

Taiji is most certainly exercise! After two-and-a-half hours of doing the form, "push-hands," freestyle, and qigong, you can about pour me back into my car.

My problem over the past few weeks has been that I have taken entirely too many days off from exercise on non-taiji days, which is something I hope to remedy with crossfit.

I plan on having weekends be "light-to-no-exercise" days, with perhaps a performance of the Yang short form or, as was the case today, with some yard work.

Cheers...
