30 questions...

Shamelessly following in the footsteps of many others who have gone before, I do hereby solicit questions from the LJ-reading public. I'll answer the first 30 that pique my interest and reserve the right to not answer any question for any reason, [insert standard disclaimer here].

And just to keep things square, I'm screening comments on this one.

Cheers...

Q1. which russian translation of "Jabberwocky" is better, "Бармаглот" (http://www.cd.chalmers.se/~jessica/Jabberwock/russian.gif) (see also this (http://www.cd.chalmers.se/~jessica/Jabberwock/), and this link (http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%91%D0%B0%D1%80%D0%BC%D0%B0%D0%B3%D0%BB%D0%BE%D1%82#.D0.9E.D1.80.D0.B8.D0.B3.D0.B8.D0.BD.D0.B0.D0.BB) )
or "Верлиока" (http://www.vekperevoda.com/1855/schepkina.htm)?

Q2. would you use Soyuz or Shuttle to travel to space?

Sorry to have not answered your question until now. It's an interesting question, but one that, alas, I am not in a position to answer at present, as I am not familiar with either translation (though I am familiar with the English original).

Someday - and I don't mean in the far future - I will sit down and give your query serious thought. Until then, please accept my apologies for my late and incomplete reply.

Cheers...
