Sorry to have not answered your question until now. It's an interesting question, but one that, alas, I am not in a position to answer at present, as I am not familiar with either translation (though I am familiar with the English original).

Someday - and I don't mean in the far future - I will sit down and give your query serious thought. Until then, please accept my apologies for my late and incomplete reply.
