As of a few minutes ago, I've laid 1500 source words to rest. There are just under 2000 to go. I think I will vector off and work on the tax return translation for a couple of hours, to take my mind off of segments like this:

I haven't heard a peep from brenk for a while. The last I heard, in addition to her usual translations, she's working on cowriting a book and moving from Switzerland to France, so I would assume she's fairly busy.

Still, it doesn't feel like nearly 6 months since hearing from her. I think I might drop her a direct nudge.
