Does anyone at Microsoft actually use the help facility for Office 2007?

It is particularly frustrating to be pushed onto their vaunted "ribbon" interface, straight into the path of a steaming deadline, only to find that not only can one not make sense of the goddam interface, but the help system only wastes your time!

I can only imagine it being foisted on below-standard employees at Redmond, as an incentive to find another job.

Cheers...

Personally, I refuse to budge from Office 2000. It works fine. Plus I got it free ;)

Office 2007 is a pain. I'd rather have the old interface back.

I've steadfastly refused to "upgrade" from 2003...and for 70% of what I need an office suite for, I use OpenOffice. The other 30% holds absolutely no reason or drive for me to spend the extra money to move to 2007.

Can't resist the urge to comment here:

www.ubit.ch

produces a wonderful word macro package that implements the Word 2003 interface within Word 2007.
