Moving along into the new week...
Apr. 21st, 2013 09:29 pmI took some time to immerse myself in what can only be described as the cesspool of news coverage about the bombing in Boston nearly a week ago. If anything can serve as a clearer example of "just-because-it's-on-the-Internet-doesn't-mean-it's-so," I'd be hard-pressed to point it out.
I got started on a large over-the-transom job via a trusted colleague and with a long lead time. Today was devoted to a read-through and translating an initial slug of work. If nothing else of substance comes down the wire this coming week, I ought to be able to make up for some of the slack time with this job.
Cheers...

Me: no, no test.
Child 2, with great vigor: Oh no, we have a test?!
Child 3: we have a test!
Child 4: we have a test!
Children 5 - 10: WE HAVE A TEST!
And so it goes...
I bring this up because I heard virtually the same developments in the reporting this week.
