Last minute activities at Mach 2...
Mar. 13th, 2001 06:12 amWell, I've been up since 4:30, when the Godforsaken Special rumbled through town, its whistle blowing particularly large this morning, as if to tell the surrounding countryside "Alex is going home today!"
God bless the AT&SF.
One of the nasty parts about e-mail is that if you don't write down - or memorize - important little tidbits, you end up having to restart your computer to retrieve that information. (Some of us out here do not keep our iron hot all the time.) So...I figure what the hey...if I'm going to bone up on my flight numbers, why not post to LJ?
Lee burned me last night. After telling me what she wanted for dinner with her dad before he goes back and resumes his Colorado existence (aloha shirt and big, silly grin at 7700 feet), and after cooking it for her...she doesn't show up. Something about a friend (or friends) out on spring break who may (or may not) show up in her neck of the woods.
Dogs, I find out, are not partial to sauerkraut.
Anyway...it's wheels up at 8:40 am local time. I have to be out of here at 7:15 am, or just over an hour from now.
And nothing is packed. Woe is me.
Cheers...
