Against all common sense, it's been snowing on and off all day long, and pretty hard, too. The snow has been keeping folks at home, I guess (it's been pretty slow at the store), and about the only good news associated with the snow is that it's not sticking where it counts, i.e., on the roads, nor is it surviving for long elsewhere on the ground.

The H-P folks may have a nightmarish customer support setup on their web site and phone lines, but the replacement cartridge they promised arrived today via UPS overnight. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with that end of the service.

Sasha, the Dog Who Will Chew Anything, suffered some sort of seizure yesterday, pretty much freaking Lee out (not to mention Drew and Shannon). After a trip to the vet, during which the dog (naturally) exhibited no symptoms of the strange seizures, the dog seems okay...I suspect perhaps the dog wrapped its lips around something that was not very friendly to its organism.

Galina was planning to leave Houston today, assuming her real estate client got off the dime and gave her the go-ahead to reduce the price on his gawdawfully overpriced house. When the price is so high, the only reason other agents will show such a property will be to drive their customers toward other, more reasonably priced homes.

Talking about Houston, the itinerary for my next trip is set. I'll be traveling down in time to work the next ISS mission, which starts on April 19, and I'll be back after the first week of May. Time to start boning up on the Assembly Ops Handbook so that I'm fully up to speed on what's supposed to happen during the flight.

Cheers...
