Craziness to the nth...
Apr. 11th, 2001 05:58 pmDrew and Shannon said good-bye to me this morning, leaving me alone in the store. One of our part-time employees showed up at about 10:30 am with the mail, but she could only stay until 1:15 pm.
It was crazy. I was up to my armpits in packages, phone calls, faxes, and customers. No time to think; no time to breathe. Forget the bathroom, bub. Finally, the phone call I've been expecting...the one from Galina.
She was home, and surprised to hear I was alone. She'd get dressed again and come help, she says.
By the time she got to the store, I'd emptied the place and was processing packages.
We survived.
Again.
We get to do this tomorrow, too. Whoopee!
I need to focus on getting as much of the important stuff done as possible. Part of the important stuff is to figure out what the really important stuff is. Ye gods.
Cheers...
