What's there to say? I got up, went to open the store and came back around 11 am. Then I sat down and started hammering away at the Excel files again, and here I am... a little the worse for wear and about to go upstairs and wash a section or two of carpet just for a change of pace.

I sent in the first third of the assignment, as promised, by 5 pm ET. My next drop is scheduled for 9 am on Monday, which I ought to make in the shade. My primary concern, though, is that my productivity doing these spreadsheets (between the fact that they are spreadsheets and that the contents are not sentences, but individual words) is nowhere near where it might be had I been doing something else.

However, there is nothing else on the horizon at the moment. For the third day in a row, there are no jobs in evidence on the appropriate ProZ page for my language combination. The phone is not ringing, either.

In some sense, this is good news, as I need to put my head together with Drew's and start to actively implement the changes at the store we've been jawing about for the past couple of months. These changes must be in place and debugged by the time Christmas season rolls around (official start is day after Thanksgiving, natch), or we are going to be one pack of hurtin' pups.

Enough of that. I have a date with a carpet shampooer upstairs.

Cheers...
