Gambling on good weather...
Nov. 25th, 2001 07:38 amThere's about 2 inches of snow on the ground and the flakes are coming down slowly, but steadily. The temperature is just below freezing.
I think I will start rousing Lee to get ready to go to Albuquerque. Under normal conditions, the trip takes about 4 to 5 hours. I can't say how much time this snow will add to that travel time, but now is not a time to be gambling on good weather.
I ran across an old set of Berlitz Spanish tapes, which I will listen to in the car (if Drew will let me borrow his Honda to go to Albuquerque). He should, considering I advanced him enough to cover an outstanding insurance bill.
More later.
Cheers...
