May. 7th, 2002 01:53 pmI made it official this morning, and called my boss to tell her I'll stick for another week.
Today's workload is fairly light, all things considered. Two Forms 24 and three other messages. I've got one left, which I'll start on in just a second or so...
A possible explanation for why the Multitran site has been down for more than a week popped up on my browser's window after trying for the umpteenth time, it seems, in these past few days to bring the site up. I get a "Seeing this instead of the website you expected?" page, which seems indicative of the site having been moved to a new machine (and all variations, thereof).
The latest edition of the SlavFile is out, with both my words of wisdom regarding resumes, and a review of my presentation in Los Angeles. I shall consider my ego to have been stroked for the week.
At any rate, it's time to turn to and translate a message concerning a radio systems test at - get this - 4800 baud. (I shouldn't poke fun... the stuff works.)
