Departure eve...
Dec. 7th, 2002 10:07 pmIt's been a long day. I was there to open the store and stayed an hour later to close it, in order to track down some overrings. No joy.
It turns out the one of our clients, who had asked Galina to drive him to and from Durango for an outpatient procedure, gave her a gift certificate to one of the better restaurants in the area. So, we invided the kids out for dinner on the eve of my departure for Houston, during which I'll be celebrating a birthday.
Upon returning home, Galina and I watched Memento, and the movie lived up to the carton words: the impact of what's going on only really hits you in the final couple of minutes.
I need to get up early tomorrow, since there's still a lot of things to do, a bunch of stuff to pack, and other details to take care of.
Cheers...
