Fairly uneventful...
Jan. 3rd, 2003 07:53 pm...and I'm not complaining.
The ham breakfast was quiet, with little fanfare. So was my time in the shop. We interviewed a young woman for a job, seeing as how Brady is leaving for Chile in a little while. She'll start on Monday.
I finally got a fire lit under myself and started translating around 2 pm. I got almost 20 pages done by 6:30 pm, with the first hour and a half or so devoted to creating table pages in MS Word that replicated what I found in the original text. Once I got that format down, I began to crank out the pages at a pretty quick rate.
I have 14 pages left, of which three comprise a list of reference documents; two, the table of contents; one more, the signoff page, followed by 8 pages of revisions. I should be able to handle that... tomorrow. Or Sunday.
Time to do a little cleaning around here, and then off to the Great Upstairs.
Cheers...
