Quietness, thy name is April Fool's...
Apr. 1st, 2003 08:47 pmIt was a quiet day, more or less. So much so, that I am really, really tired. Go figure. :^)
The e-mails that went astray yesterday from my client arrived today, around 6 pm. A look at the headers indicates that both messages started to wend their way toward me a few minutes before they arrived, which means that they gestated inside of a server for over a day before being sent. This is Not Good™. I hate it when someone else's hardware makes me look bad.
My client contact for the job actually works at the end client's facility, so I dropped her a note explaining what had apparently happened and offering to forward the messages she sent to the IT guys at her location.
Work on the marketing script continues apace. It's an iterative process.
Cheers...
