Lotta two-day packages, lemme tell ya...
Dec. 22nd, 2003 06:52 pmIt was a pretty full day for the staff at the store. Shannon was home taking care of Huntur, who apparently has become sick as a result of socializing with oodles of other kids recently. A check of the pedometer shows I've racked up nearly 16000 steps for the day, which is about right for a crazy day at the store.
This is the first year in which we didn't "triage" packages by distance in order to make sure everything got to where it was supposed to go. (In previous years, our ability to process packages on the computer was fairly slow and didn't allow us to get all packages done by the time the UPS truck came by, so we'd make sure we'd process the packages with the longest trip first.)
I am not going to do much of anything else today, except rest.
Cheers...
